James Berlin Dean

James Berlin Dean 69 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday November 7, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital.

James was born on November 29, 1949 in Jeffersonville, IN to Joseph and Sarah Coggins Dean.  He was a retired electrician for Ford Motor Company in Louisville where he worked for 37 years.  James served his country honorably as a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 862 and the Elks Club in Florida where he held leadership roles in each organization.

James is survived by his wife, Mary Cave Dean; children, Matthew Dean (Natalie) of Austin, TX, Lisa Stoner (Bruce) of Charlestown and Jared Dean of Taylorsville, KY; grandchildren, Jordan, Gunner, Tanner, Ryder, Charlotte.

Private services will be held by the family.
