James Paul “Corky” Corcoran 83, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday September 21, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.He was born on May 31, 1935 in New Albany, IN to Paul and Ruth Nunemacher Corcoran. Corky was an army veteran, a retired clerical worker for E. I. DuPont and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.Corky is survived by his wife the former Betsy Ross Corcoran; sister, Mary Ann McLean of New Albany, IN; nephews Matthew McLean of New Albany, IN and Mike Ross of Clarksville, IN and niece, Carla Stallard of Clarksville.Cremation was chosen by the family and no services are scheduled at this time.
