James V. Cogar Jr., age 41, of Hanover, IN passed away Saturday October 4, 2014 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born October 10, 1972 in St. Mary’s County, Maryland to James V. and Cynthia Poisson Cogar Sr.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Madison and formerly worked with the Corrections Department.
Mr. Cogar is survived by his wife, Christine Walker Cogar of Hanover; son, Ian Cogar, of Hanover; his father, James V. Cogar Sr. of Maryland; and his mother, Cynthia Day, of Maryland. 3 sisters, Christy Harris, Wendy Day, and Jamie Cogar all of Maryland
The funeral will be at 1:00 pm Friday October 10, 2014 at Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial at New Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday and after 9 am on Friday.
