James E. Burch, 77, of Charlestown, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday,
September 16, 2012.
He was born on March 24, 1935 to Frank R. and Mattie (Stacy) Burch in
Boonville, KY. He was a retired cabinet maker at Kitchen Kompact in Jeffersonville, and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Doris (Bowling) Burch of Charlestown, IN; daughters, Teresa Nelson (Ricky) of Charlestown, IN, and Lisa Bishop (Roy) of New Albany, IN; Grandson, James Michael Bishop; sister, Jennie Campbell of Boonville, KY, and many good friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 1pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Thursday.
