Jalah Groenenboom, 81 of Marysville, IN passed away on Friday July 24, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
She was born on March 1, 1934 in Owsley County, KY to Cleveland and Mattie Thomas Shouse. Mrs. Groenenboom was a loving wife and mother and a member of the Marysville Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Keith "Joe" Groenenboom; sons, Lionel Groenenboom (Carol) of Austin, IN and Lonnie Groenenboom (Sandra) of Scottsburg, IN; daughter, Linda Johnson (Terry) of Otisco, IN. brother, Warden Shouse of Servierville, TN; sister, Wanda Eddings of Sellersburg, IN; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in New Market Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 pm to 8 pm and after 9 am on Tuesday.
