Jack Wallace Frazier, 88, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Diversicare of Providence with family by his side.
He was born on October 15, 1927 to Andrew and Eva (Ison) Frazier in Oskaloosa, KY. He was an Air Force Veteran of WWII and Korean War. He was a retired machinist for American Synthetic Rubber Corporation in Louisville, KY, member of the American Legion Post 335, lifetime member of the VFW Post 1427, and member of the Chester Hogg Old Regular Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce M. Frazier; sister, Fern Roseberry; brother-in-law, Luke Roseberry.
Survivors include his daughters, Vanessa Williams (David) of Gainesville, GA, and Casandra Poole (Bill) of Louisville, KY; son, James Frazier (Debbie) of Clarksville, IN; sisters, Fairy Banks (Edgar) of New Palestine, IN,, and Faye Banks (Carlos) of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren, Jill Robertson, Jenna Robertson, and Michael Williams; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Clayton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Wednesday.
