Jack Compton

Jack Compton 84 of Marysville, IN passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Community Heart & Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

He was born on May 24, 1938, in Louisville, KY, and was a member of New Hope Community Church and was a retired Grain Elevator Manager for the Farm Bureau Co-op.  He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Turner Williams.

Jack is survived by his wife, Jewel Townsley Compton, sons, Joseph 'Skip' Compton and his wife Zina of Indianapolis and Jarrett Compton and his wife Mary Jo of Evansville, IN, grandchildren, Jinian Iavarone and her husband Jacob of West Allis, WI and Amanda Compton of Evansville; great-grandchildren Sebastian Iavarone and Evelyn Iavarone.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 pm on May 8, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday.
