Ismael Aguirre Sr.

Ismael Aguirre Sr, 75 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.  He was born on January 7, 1945 in CD Juarez Chihauhua, Mexico to Leonardo and Valentina (Lopez) Aguirre.    Ismael was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Charlestown, where he helped build the new addition  on to the church.  He was a construction superintendent and member of the local 64 Carpenters Union in Louisville, KY.

Ismael is survived by his loving wife, Gloria (Jimenez) Aguirre; his children, Alma Casey of Harrison Co, IN, Carolina Martin (Kenny) of Scottsburg, IN, Ismael Aguirre Jr (Teresa) of New Washington, IN. Julia Rudolph (Tony) of Lanesville, IN and David Aguirre (Terri) of Jeffersonville, IN; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Gloria Aguirre.
