Isabelle Bower, 83 of Charlestown passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Bower was born on February 17, 1933 in Jeffersonville the daughter of Ernest and Cecil Kent Hicks. She worked in retail, was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorene Clapp(Dana) of Charlestown; son Larry Bower(Lauren) of Jeffersonville; brother, William Hicks of New Washington; grandchildren, Brandy, Matt, Ryan, Brandon and Briana; great-grandchildren, Haley, Cole, Aiden, Jace, Weston and Braydin. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lawrence Bower on February 3, 1990.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of services.
