Ila Gilbert Taylor

Mr. Taylor passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.

He was born on April 13, 1917 in Ashbyburg, Kentucky the son of Lorenzo and Luettie Foster Taylor who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three sons, William, Gary and James Neal Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a former employee if E. I. Dupont and retired from the Metropolitan Sewer District in Louisville and was a member of the Park Street Church of Christ in Charlestown.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel Sandlin Taylor; sons Harold Taylor, Antelope, CA, David Taylor, New Washington and Brian Tracy Taylor, Otisco; brother, Charles D. Taylor, Louisville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
