Mr. Oakley passed away Friday April 14, 2006 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville. He was born May 28, 1928 in Toledo, Illinois to Hugh and Edna Brooks Oakley. Mr. Oakley is a retired employee of Broadway Chevrolet, a Navy veteran, and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He is survived by: Wife: Barbara Houchin Oakley, 2 sons: Thomas, and Randall Oakley, 1 daughter: Patricia Nofsinger, and 4 step-sons: Steve Casey, Mike Bell, Steve Skaggs, and Mike Skaggs, 2 brothers: Jerry and Danny Oakley, 1 sister: Wanda Bower. Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sons: Russell, and Roger Oakley.
