Hubert T. McCoy, 90, of Otisco, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born on July 31, 1927 to Nathan and Alma (McKinney) McCoy in Butler Co., KY. He was an Army Veteran, a retired machinery oiler for Phillip Morris, cattle farmer, avid deer and turkey hunter, and a faithful Christian servant to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He is preceded in death in 2006 by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ada A. McCoy; son, Ted McCoy who passed away in 2010; siblings, Zora Hudnall, Mae Lou Belcher, Martha Brooks, and Willard McCoy.

Survivors include his son, Marc McCoy (Rita) of Otisco, IN ; daughter-in-law, Sandy McCoy of Otisco, IN, and sister-in-law Nell McCoy of Louisville, KY;  grandchildren, Jonathan McCoy (Colette), Julie Lange (Steve), Adam McCoy (Mandy), and Meredith Lulich (Steven); great-grandchildren, Luke McCoy, Ella McCoy, Addison McCoy, Levi McCoy, Joseph McCoy, Andrew McCoy, Ada McCoy, Ezekiel Lulich, Nehemiah Lulich, Eliza Lulich, Collin Lange, and Austin Lange.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11am at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, and after 10am on Friday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Lottie Moon Offering at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
