Howard T. Dallas, 77, of Charlestown, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at his home.
He was born the son of Pete and Ethel Vinson Dallas. Howard was a Navy Veteran in the Korean War; he worked as a maintenance man, a member of the Utica Masonic Lodge, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Charlestown.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Willian Dallas of Charlestown, IN; son, Robert L. Dallas of Abita Springs, LA; step son; Dewey Hunt of Marysville, IN; daughters; Tammi Sue Jones of Clarksville, IN, and Kimberly Dallas of Clarksville, IN; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday until time of service. Masonic services will be held on Friday at 7pm at the funeral home.
