Homer “Junior” Barrett, Jr., 66, of Hazel Green, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in Sevierville, TN.
He was born on February 26, 1950 to Homer Barrett, Sr., and Georgina (Mismore) Barrett in Scott Co., IN. He was an engineer for Mountain Telephone in West Liberty, KY, and an Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eva Moore; granddaughter, Brenna Rae Snell.
Survivors include his wife the former Vanessa Frickhoeffer of Hazel Green, KY; sons, Anthony Snell (Monica) of Charlestown, IN, and Travis Barrett of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Chanda Austin of Madison, IN; brothers, James B. Barrett of Austin, IN, Terry Barrett of Austin, IN, and Gerald Barrett of Seymour, IN; sisters, Brenda Morris of Austin, IN, Connie McNear of Austin, IN, Dianna Hollan of Seymour, IN, and Kate Taylor of Scottsburg, IN; 7 Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will begin on Friday from 1pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
