Hildred Laverne (Conger) White

LaVerne White, 67, of Charlestown passed away on January 11, 2015 at St Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was born on December 16, 1947 in Gary, IN to Jay and Virginia Kanaub Conger. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Cheryl Lynn, son Jody, sister Becky, and half-brother Mike.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Eugene White, daughters Melissa Ann White of Hibernia, IN and Cindy Lee Sweeny of Louisville, KY; son Jason White of Buchannan, TX; foster children Carolyn Tanner and Destiny Williams; sisters Grace and Georgianna; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. There will be a family memorial service at a later date.
