Helen Louise (Wilson) Stymest

Helen “Granny” Stymest, 89, of Panama City, FL and formerly of Charlestown passed away , Saturday, July 20, 2013.
She was born the daughter of Oscar Wilson and Mary Alverda Arnold on April 6, 1924 in Louisville, KY. Helen is the oldest daughter of thirteen children. Helen was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She was a devoted caregiver to her family and friends. Mrs. Stymest is preceded in death by her husband, James Peabody Stymest of 53 years and her son, Jimmy Stymest.
She is survived by her two children, Mickie Haggard (Jimmy), Terry Gravatt (Rich); six brothers and sisters, Rosie Bishop, Inez Collett, Pat Wilson (Winnie), Betty Lou Cole (Glen), Esther Lee, Wolfgang (Jerry), and Joey Lagerholm (Doug); eight grandchildren, Tammy Meade, Shannon Shields, Jamie Haggard, James P. Stymest III, Joey Stymest, John Paul Stymest, Richard Gravatt III, and Alicia Gravatt Holton.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 4pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 2pm on Saturday till the time of the service.
