Helen T. (True) Knoebel

Helen T. Knoebel 74, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday June 21, 2021 at Maple Manor Healthcare in Sellersburg, IN.

She was born on July 28, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to Lloyd and Lauvedia “Bee” Wilkerson True.  Helen spent many years as a teachers aide and was a member of the Beta Sigma Psi Sorority and First United Methodist Church in Charlestown.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Jim Knoebel.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Sawyer and her husband Richard of Charlestown, sons, Jeffrey Knoebel of Charlestown and Tony Knoebel and his wife Paula of Charlestown; brothers, George True and his wife Peggy of Madison, IN and Richard True and his wife Linda of Jeffersonville, IN; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

Life Celebration Services will be held on Tuesday June 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday and after 9:00 am on Tuesday.
