She was born on April 9, 1919 in Louisville, KY to Alvin and Sally Montgomery Satterly, Sr and passed away on Friday August 6, 2010 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was the former owner of Helen's Restaurant in Charlestown for 20 years and a member of the Community Presbyterian Church and the St. Catherine Regional Hospital Auxillary.
Survivors include her half sisters Wanda Worrall and Edith Tillery both of Clarksville and Alpha Spencer of New Albany, IN, half brother; Harold Satterly of Clarksville, nieces; Rebecca Bishop of Charlestown and Ruth Ann Tarter and Tina Ford both of Jeffersonville, nephew; Dick Mickel of Charlestown and her best friend Mary Walden of Charlestown.
