Helen Janette Adams 70, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023, at Sellersburg Healthcare Center in Sellersburg, IN.

She was born on September 1, 1953, in Fairbury, IL to Dexter and Helen Oliver Carver.  She was a former C.N.A. in the healthcare industry.  She was very talented and could play guitar, piano and organ all by ear.  She was a Hot Rod Enthusiast, spent time riding her motorcycle, enjoyed life as a wild and free spirit along with spending time with her son and grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, son, Brian W. Adams, brother, Barry Carver and a brother in law Mike Gibson.

Survivors include her sisters, Kathy Gibson of Charlestown, Annette Trump of Jeffersonville, IN and Sonya Brewer (Randy) of Charlestown; nieces and nephews, Eugene Gibson (Cheryl), Tony Carver, Jeremy Carver (Tiffany), Lucas Brewer and Michele Middleton (Mark).

Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday October 20, 2023, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 11:00 am on Friday.
