Harry David Kleinschmidt, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, in Georgetown, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 19, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Harry led a life rich with adventure, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Harry's career began with the Carnation Milk Company, where he cheerfully delivered milk to businesses and schools, earning the respect and affection of his community. He was a family man dedicated to creating cherished memories, especially with his wife, Doris Ann Hurst Kleinschmidt. Together, they embarked on cross-country travels for over 14 years, spending several weeks in Indiana with their daughter, Karen. Their journeys often included visits to historic battlefields, reflecting Harry's deep appreciation for history and learning.

A multifaceted individual, Harry embraced numerous interests throughout his life. He found joy in outdoor adventures and was an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular fondness for football. His passion extended to 'restling', where he was known for his spirited support. Moreover, Harry had an uncreditable sense of humor, ensuring that everyone he met felt like a friend. He also enjoyed listening to quartets, with a special appreciation for the Gaither Brothers’ gospel music.

Harry was not only a loving husband and father but also a proud grandparent to 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, all who brought immense joy to his life. His proudest accomplishments included forming lasting friendships through his beloved pool games, where he spent hours with his friends, known as "The Pool Buddies," and demonstrating skill and camaraderie as an accomplished bowler.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry John Kleinschmidt and Katherine Cecelia Liber Kleinschmidt, and by his children, Paul D. Kleinschmidt, William H. Kleinschmidt, and Elizabeth Ann Summerlin.

Harry's legacy of kindness, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of his wife, Doris; his son, John P. Kleinschmidt; his daughters, Deva Janine Andrews and Karen J. Beaton; and in the memories shared with his extensive line of descendants.
