Harry Lee Hicks

Harry Lee Hicks, 70 of New Albany, IN and formerly of New Washington passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Rolling Hills Healthcare in New Albany.

Harry was born on February 8, 1953, in Louisville, KY, the son of Harry and Christine Hicks. In his younger years he worked in the tobacco fields, but most of working days were spent as a deck hand on river barges.

Harry is survived by his sister, Harriet McCormick-Fields and her husband Dale of New Washington, IN, several other family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Cathy Stevens and Carol White, brothers, Steve, and Aubrey Hicks, step-sister, Ellen Jane Carnes.

Cremation was chosen with no services at this time.
