Harold D. Drury

Harold D. Drury 64 of Otisco, IN passed away on July 6, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.  He was born on July 29, 1959, in Louisville, KY to Adam and Jeanette Bindner Drury.

Harold was a very patriotic man, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army from 1982 – 1984 serving in combat in Grenada and Panama.  He worked in the heating and air business for 35 years and retired from New Albany Heating and Air.  Harold was a member of the VFW Post 1427 and the American Legion Post #335, he was a good-hearted person, loved animals, collected model trains, and played chess. Above all Harold was a loving husband, father, and brother.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents in 2021, and his son, Harold Drury Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Dyke Drury, sisters, Kina McKinne of Otisco, IN,  and Mary Lisa Evans of Pekin, IN; brother, Michael Drury of Idaho; children, James Drury and Jessica Nee Drury both of Scottsburg, IN, Alla Scales and Lisa Drury of Louisville, KY, Cody Drury of Clarksville, IN,  Roxanne Phillips of Jeffersonville, IN, and Josh Jennings of Clarksville, IN; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown.
