She was born on Dec. 20, 1929 in Jeffersonville, IN the daughter of Carson and Rosa Lee Atwood Cochran.
Ms. Cowis is survived by her husband John Henry Cowie of Canada; son Ronald Stinson of Jeffersonville, IN; brother Clifford Cochran of Carrollton, KY; sister Elvie May of Charlestown, IN; 1 grandchild Karen Campbell and 3 great grandchildren.
