Hank W. Williams, Sr., 59 of Charlestown, IN died Thursday July 3, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
He was born on August 10, 1954 in Madison, IN and was a carpenter and member of the Pleasant Ridge First Church of God in Charlestown. He was preceded in death by his father Russell Williams.
Survivors include his children; Malina Vibbert, Rebecca and Misty Williams and Tiffany Paiz and Hank Williams, JR all of Charlestown, IN, mother and step-father; Marguerite and Delmas Hutchinson of Charlestown, brothers; Russell L. Williams of Leitchfield, KY, Jasper R. Williams of Corydon, IN and Rocky R. Williams of Charlestown, Sister, Ruth Willey of Charlestown and 16 grandchildren and his dog Tiptoe.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
