Grace Lawson Engle

Mrs. Engle passed away Saturday December 12, 2009 at her residence.
She was born March 26, 1912 in Lawson, KY the daughter of W. F. Lawson and Christine Miller Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence M. Engle, parents and four brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Sue Wood, Son-in-law John E. Wood, Charlestown; a grandson, Todd Wood of Borger, Texas; sister Naomi L. Kiger, Charlestown; brother Edwin Lawson(Emma) Jackson, KY; sister-in-law Josephine Lawson, Valley Station, KY and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Mt. Carmel high School in 1933 and attended Lees Junior College. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in her honor may be made to Mt. Carmel Local Student Tuition Fund at .P. O. Box 2 Vancleve, KY 41385.
The family would like to recognize the loving care given by care givers Anita Tungate, Andrea Washburn and Alise Bruce and also Rev. Rex Jones and the members of the Charlestown First United Methodist Church.
