Gloria Dale Bartrum Taflinger, 83, of New Washington, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care Rolling Hills in New Albany, IN.
She was born on May 18, 1932 to Myrtle Ruby Bartrum in Chicago, IL. She was a homemaker, caregiver, and was a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Taflinger, and her daughter, Lori Haley.
Survivors include hers sons, David Taflinger (Terry) of Borden, IN, Joseph W. Taflinger (Sherri) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Samuel A. Taflinger of Nabb, IN; daughters, Arlene Kay Johnson (Mike) of Kingman, AZ, Ruby I. Taflinger (William Wright) of New Washington, IN, and Glenna I. Haley (Ron) of New Washington, IN; son-in-law, Steve Haley of Otisco, IN; step-brother, James Taflinger of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Mary Taylor of New Washington, IN; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 12pm to 6pm, and after 9am on Monday.
