Gloria Jean Bowling

Gloria Jean Bowling, 65 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.

Jean was born on October 26, 1952 in Williamson, WV to Troy and Joyce Yvonne Goff Bowling.  She was a Para Educator and Coach at Charlestown Middle School for 32 years.  She was also a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown where she taught Sunday School for over 45 years.  Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sisters, Cindy Bowling and Cathy Schwartz both of Charlestown; brother, Mike Bowling (Aimee) of Charlestown; cousins, Dina Schafer (Larry) of Charlestown, Jerri Lynn Knight (Paul) of Underwood, IN; niece, Brooke Bowling of Charlestown, second cousins, Tyler Knight (Emily) Glasgow, KY, Kayla Roberts (Matt), Makenzie Schafer, Ethan Schafer, Trey Schafer, Reese Roberts, Remie Roberts, all of Charlestown and Hadley Knight of Glasgow; uncle, Robert Glover of Charlestown, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 5 pm on Saturday February 10, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 am until 5 pm at the church.  Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
