Glenna Lou (Henderson) Martin

Glenna Lou Martin, 79 of Charlestown, IN passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Glenna was born on August 26, 1938 in New Washington, IN the daughter of Roy and Norene Henderson. She worked for 35 years at the Charlestown Library. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going to the Casino with her friends, watching UK basketball and attending the many sporting events of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bill Martin.

Glenna is survived by her children, Gary Martin of Charlestown, Lisa Schauner and her husband Steve of New Washington, and Teresa Smallwood and her husband Roger of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Josh Martin (Missy), Bradley Martin (Bridget), Ashley York (Tyler), Caasi Robertson (Kyle), Kyle Robertson (Shelby), Coari Robertson, Dillon Smallwood (Tarrin) and Taylor Smallwood; great-grandchildren, Caysen, Emmalee, Bryce, Hadley, Maverick, Karlyn, Ryne and Donovan.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Friday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in memory of Glenna to the Charlestown Library, 51 Clark Road, Charlestown, IN 47111.
