Glen D. Kelly, 82 of Charlestown, IN passed away on January 23, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Kelly was born on August 26, 1933 in Lee County, VA to Denver and Myrtle Price Kelly. He was a former resident of Shelbyville, KY and was a retired Asplundh Tree Expert and owner and operator of Kelly’s Hydraulic Lift Service and Kelly’s Tree Service. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown and he enjoyed NASCAR.
Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Barnett Kelly; son, Glen Danny Kelly, brother, Cecil Kelly; and sister, Furl Davis.
Survivors include his daughter, Peggy McMillen (Randy) of Shelbyville, KY; sons, Donald Kelly (Becky) and David Kelly both of Charlestown; sisters, Madeline Sasser of Pryor, OK and Lois Harland of Louisville, KY; grandchildren Megan, Spencer, Chase, Shane, Daniel, Bryan and Justin; great grandchildren, Logan, Remy, Scott, Amelia, Lily, Tenley and Josh.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday January 30, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday.
