Gladys Elizabeth May, 88, passed away Sunday May 1, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was born on August 21, 1922 to Willie and Nettie Mae Wilborn Simpson in Springfield, KY. She was a homemaker and member of the Park Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; Forrest May of Charlestown, IN; son; Dennis C. May (Jackie) of Brandenburg, KY; daughters; Collette Powell (Bob) of Marysville, IN and Connie Johnson (John) of Shepherdsville, KY; brother; John Simpson of Springfield, KY; grandchildren; Troy Powell, Tabitha Sexton, Rebecca Varadan, and Kristin Hebner; great-grandchildren; Jenna Sexton, Kayla Jo Sexton, Justice Johnson, Aaron Powell, Abigail Powell, Madeline Johnson, Ava Hebner, and Sophie Hebner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and after 9am on Friday.
