Mr. Bowman, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was born January 12, 1939 in Floyds Knobs, IN. the son of Gilbert Alvin and Pauline Earl Stepro Bowman.
Mr. Bowman was a truck driver and is survived by his wife, Doris Powless Bowman; sons, Gilbert A. Bowman, Jr. and David W. Bowman both of Floyds Knobs, Joseph M. Bowman, Leavenworth and Mark S. Bowman, Nashville, TN; brother, Earl F. Bowman, Sulphur, IN; sisters, Danna Kost, Terre Haute, IN and Barbara Day, Farmersburg, IN; step-daughter, Debbie Buchanan, Vacaville, CA.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
