Gertrude Shepherd, 79 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Kentuckiana Medical Center.
Miss Shepherd was born March 23, 1935 in Kingdom Come, KY the daughter of Dewey and Dora Frazier Shepherd. She was retired from I.C.I in Charlestown as a Quality Control Supervisor.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Shepherd Sr. of Charlestown; sisters, Juanita Bledsoe of Sellersburg, IN and Ann Kersey of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Jennifer Shepherd, Jeff Shepherd Jr. and Alex Shepherd all of Charlestown; great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Aiden Shepherd; nephews, Ron Foley of Clarksville, IN, David Kersey of Tampa, FL and Ben Boggs of Florida; niece, Shirlene Boggs of Charlestown.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday until the time of services.
