Gerald Eugene Sutton

Gerald Eugene Sutton, 66, of Charlestown, IN passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at The Timbers of Jasper in Jasper, IN.

Gerald was a 1973 graduate of the Charlestown High School and Volunteer State Community College, Gallatin, TN. He was a faithful and loving son, brother, uncle and cousin. Gerald loved Nascar, western shows and especially cruising in his 1970 Monte Carlo.  His kindness and warm smile will be forever in our hearts and souls.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; Donald L. and Betty L. Dean Cook and his brother-in-law, Jerry D. "Jug" Hampton, all of Charlestown, IN. Gerald is survived by his sister, Marcia Hampton-McGuire (Benny) of Jeffersonville, IN; brother, Donald L. Cook Jr. of Charlestown; nieces, Amy Sad (Dan) of Charlestown, Jill Biven of Cumming, GA, Lauren Gulley (Roger) of Indianapolis; great nieces, Kendall, Isabella, Sophia, Kennedy and Alyse; great nephew, Connor.

Due to the COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held at Scottsburg Cemetery, Scottsburg, IN.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Gerald's memory to The LifeSpring Foundation of Indiana.
