Georgia H. Reis

Georgia E. Reis, 103 of Charlestown, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital.

Georgia was born on August 19, 1916 to Clyde and Bessie (Carr) Hawes.  She was a Quality Control Inspector for the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown. And a life long member of Bethany Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Lawrence Reis; daughter, Beverly Bottorff; brothers, Beverly Hawes, Joe Jeff Hawes and Ellsworth Hawes; and sisters, Thelma Diedrerick, Mary Reed and Betty Williams.

Georgia is survived by her son, Glenn A. Reis (Pat); grandchildren, Susie Reis (Dwight Beall), Larry Reis (Angie), Clark Bottorff (Susan), and  Beth Bottorff Reis; son-in-law, Bruce Bottorff; two great grandchildren, Caroline Reis and Catherine Reis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Union Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Monday until the time of services.
