George was born on October 1, 1944 in Dade County, Florida to George Simmonite, who precedes him in death.
Survivors include; his wife, Eugenia (Worley) Simmonite; sons, George H. Simmonite II and Gus John Cecil Simmonite, both of Florida, Jonathan and David Bruce Simmonite of Charlestown; Daughter, Tracy Dixon of Florida; Step-Daughter Monica Prenatt of Elizabeth, IN; several grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
