George Raymond Missi

George Raymond Missi, 70, of Underwood, IN passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born on March 20, 1949 in New Albany, IN to Irvin and Rita (Wathen) Missi.  George was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and retired from the United States Postal Service, where he was an Auditor/Inspector.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Jean (Bailey) Missi; and brother, Dennis Missi.

George is survived by his sons, Scott Missi (Christy) of Austin, IN and Steven Missi (Crystal) of Elizabeth, IN; grandchildren, Sarah Missi, Matthew Missi, Courtney Robbins and Seth Missi; and one great grandchild, Delayna Wynn.

Memorial Gathering and Life Celebration will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
