George F. Fisher, age 88 of Madison passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Fisher was born August 7, 1925 the son of Leonard and Dora Steele Fisher in Brooksburg, IN. He operated Dealer’s Auto Clean-up in Madison for several years and enjoyed going to Belterra, fishing and watching Westerns.
Survivors include his daughters, Wanda Lewis of Madison, Delores Hensley and her husband Bronson of Madison and Marcella Crawford and her husband Frank of Sardis, MS; sons, George Fisher Jr. and his wife Diane of Madison, Edward Pettit and his wife Gertrude of Indianapolis, IN and Eugene Rowlett of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Leonard Fisher of Carrollton, KY; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lorena Fisher, brother William Fisher, one infant sister and granddaughter, Alicia Reifer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M Friday, June 6, 2014 at Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
