Genevia Collins Ison, 69, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her home.
She was born on March 3, 1948 to Charlie and Nellie (Young) Collins in Leslie Co., KY. She was a retired stocker for Jay C Store. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Clyde Collins; sisters, Pauline Hensley, and Wilma Rice.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Rollo Ison of Charlestown, IN; son, Rick Ison (Kim) of Otisco, IN; daughter, Susie Kraft (Kevin) of Charlestown, IN; brothers, Charles Collins of London, KY, and Clarence Collins of London, KY; sisters, Rosalie Couch of Hamilton, OH, Helen Gay of Sizerock, KY, Mary Smith of Harlan, KY, Brenda Gay of Sizerock, KY; Rachel Gilbert of Clay Co., KY, Carol Hensley of Oneida, KY, Vickie Butler of Oneida, KY, and Pam Brock of Helton, KY; grandchildren, Brittany Kraft, Jeffrey Kraft, and Xander Ison.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday from 2pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Tuesday.
