Geneva May Layton, 80, of Lexington, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at her home.
She was born on February 24, 1934 in Louisville, KY to Edmond and Stella (Phillips) Cravens. She enjoyed reading and watching T.V. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard B. Layton; daughter, Sandy Robison; sister, Mary Gabbard; brother, Danny Cravens; granddaughter, Tiara Layton.
Survivors include her daughters; Stella Renn (Adam) of Charlestown, IN, Vicky Layton of Chelsea, IN, and Catherine Miles (Dan) of Lexington, IN; sons, Richard Layton (Betty) of Otisco, IN, and Michael Layton (Melody) of Jeffersonville, IN; brothers, James Cravens of Louisville, KY, and Tommy Cravens of South Caroline; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Peppie.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2pm at the Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown handling arrangements.
