Gene Paul Raines

Mr. Raines was born on February 9, 1945 in Westernport, MD and died on Saturday Nov. 7, 2009 at Veterans Hospital in Louisville.
He was the son of Harold P. and Mildred Westfall Raines and a former staff sergeant in the US Army having served in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife the former Sherry Perkins, sons; Gene P. Raines, Jr. of Fostoria, OH., Robert H. Raines of Nabb, IN, daughters; Jaime A. Striplin of Mt. Savage, MD., and Gina L. O'Neil of Charlestown, brothers; Norman Raines of Keyser, WV., Gary Raines of Front Royal, VA., Richard Allen Raines of Trentwoods, NC., Thomas Raines of Westernport, MD., Grandchildren; Savannah, Summer and Nikiah Raines, Daniel Striplin and Autumn Robinson, great grandson Jesse Robinson.
