Gene Comstock. 83 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
Mr. Comstock was born on February 13, 1933 in Allen, KY to Karl and Mattie May Comstock. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War where he served with the 2nd Armored Division. Gene was a retired maintenance foreman from General Electric, a member of the Hibernia Christian Church, Suburban Masonic Lodge # 740 in Louisville, KY and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, IN
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Leslie Burke and Mary Sue Assef.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle LaMaster Comstock; a son, Terry Comstock and his wife Cindy of Charlestown; grandson, Thomas Comstock of Charlestown; brother, Bobby Comstock of Martin, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday June 24, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Thursday and after 9 am on Friday.
