Gary M. Tucker, Sr.

Gary M. Tucker, Sr., 75 of Danville, KY. passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.

Gary was born on August 15, 1947, in Jeffersonville, IN, the son of Charles Raymond and Hazel Agnes McClure Tucker. He was a retired employee of the former Rocketwood Furniture Factory in Charlestown, IN, and of the former Belknap Manufacturing in Louisville, KY. Gary loved attending the Indiana School for the Deaf’s Parent Teacher Counselor Organization (PTCO) events. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wrestling, weightlifting, collecting coins, watches, pocketknives, classic cars, putting together model car sets, and the love of his family, especially his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife, Bonnie Ballard Tucker; daughter, Michelle Wilson and her husband Byron of Danville, KY; son, Gary Tucker, Jr. of Danville, KY; grandchildren, Kassie, Kayla, Kristy, Sierra, Levin, Micah, Alyson, Elizabeth, Harmony, and Micheal; great-grandchildren, Conner, Zeannah, Malachi, Sammie, and one on the way, Kamber; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond Tucker, Earl Tucker, and Marvin Tucker; and sister, Margie Clapp.

Life celebration services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the House of Refuge Church, 7059 East Highway 362, Nabb, IN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.
