Gary Lee Meeks, 57 of Dugger, IN and formerly of Charlestown, IN died Friday November 15, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
He was born on February 10, 1956 in Jeffersonville, IN to Thomas and Norma Goodman Meeks, Jr. He was a professional musician.
Survivors include his daughter; Angela Bennett of Greenup, KY, son: Travis Meeks, mother; Norma Meeks of Dugger, IN, companion; Jackie Mills of Dugger, IN, brothers; David Meeks of Burlington, KY and Daniel Meeks, Sr., of Charlestown, IN, sisters; Connie Bueter of Charlestown, IN Jean Schwab of Kellar, TX and Linda Harbin of Louisville, KY and 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 12 pm. Sunday November 24, 2013 at the Mt. Calvary Church in Sullivan, IN. His ashes will be buried at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Sullivan, IN.
A Music Memorial is scheduled for December 8, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Mom's Music in Louisville, KY
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mt. Calvary Church Cemetery Fund in Sullivan, IN.
