Garnett Lowe, Jr., 96, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Lowe was born on August 28, 1920 to Garnett, Sr. and Esther (Kloepher) Lowe in Kent, IN. He was a Navy Veteran of the WWII, owner of the old Lowe and Tull Hardware Store, member of the American Legion Post 335, VFW Post 1427, and a member of the Community Presbyterian Church.He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Lowe; son, Scott Thomas Lowe; brother, Donald Lowe; sister, Linda Tull.
Survivors include his sons, C.Matthew Lowe of Charlestown, IN, and Garnett Lowe III of Charlestown, IN; brother, J.C. Lowe of Carthage, MO; sister, Barbara Black of Jacksonville Beach, FL; 2 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Community Presbyterian Church in Charlestown. Grayson Funeral Home handling arrangements.
