Mr. Ison passed away on Sunday Feb. 25, 2010 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 10, 1915 in Letcher County, Kentucky the son of Gid Ison. Mr. Ison was a construction worker supervisor, attended Hibernia Christian, served in the Army during WWII, and a member of the American Legion Post #335 in Charlestown, IN.
He is survived by his wife E. Jean Davis Ison; daughter Joyce Huttsell of Charlestown, IN; foster son Richard Wilson of Charlestown, IN; several brothers and sisters; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren.
