Freddie Joe Edens

Mr. Edens passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He was born on June 9, 1939 in Bowling Green , KY , the son of David and Mable Earline Henson Edens. He was a retired supervisor for E. T. Slider Sand and Gravel and a former employee of Niehaus Express Mail in Charlestown . He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by everyone.

Survivors include his wife Linda Ballard Edens; son, Joe Edens, Tulsa, OK; daughters, Jessie Edens, Linda Gail Stacy and Stacy Edens all of Madison, IN, Kim Edwards and Tara Edens both of Marysville; brother, Roger Edens, New Albany; sister, Barbara Edens, Charlestown; seven grandchildren including David and Taylor Edwards, Paul and Candy Ballard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce Berry.
