Franklin Dubbert (Bubba) Williams

Franklin Dubbert (Bubba) Williams, 45 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Franklin was born on September 24, 1977, in Jeffersonville, IN the son of Franklin and Wanda Carlisle Williams. He was a self-employed mechanic working on cars and lawnmowers. Franklin enjoyed playing trivia games, fishing, playing pool, fixing cars, and making wood crosses and wood engravings. He loved his Kitty Cole, spending time with his family and friends, and was known for his whoppers in the form of storytelling were legendary.

Franklin is survived by his sons, Franklin David Williams and his wife Kimberly Dawn, Caleb Nathaniel Williams, Jeremiah Ray Williams, Jusiah Alexander Williams, and Kaden Michael Lee Williams; father, Franklin Williams; sisters, Michelle R. Meredith and her husband Kevin, Mandi D. Geary and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Navy, Jaxson and Porscha; ex-wife, Tara Jean Brison Williams; mother-in-law, Neva Brison; nephews, Chase(Hannah), Cage, Cameron(Nicketti), Nolan, Michael, Gabe, Trent, and Jaedon; nieces, Lea(Richard), Heather, Kaelin, Trista, Lexi, Bri and Haliee; great-nephews, Kason and Andrew. Franklin was preceded in death by his mother Wanda; grandfather and grandmother, Richard and Frances Lee Oldham; father-in-law, Walter David Brison; aunt, Darlene Ryan; uncle, Orman Long and other family members.

Life celebration services will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
