Frank O. Mauk Jr., 83 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Mauk was born June 21, 1932 in Watson, IN the son of Omar and Pearl Dugard Mauk. He was a retired from Ward Mechanical Engineering company in Louisville, KY. Frank was a member of Hibernia Christian Church, #631 Union Local Carpenters Chapter in Charlestown and was an avid hunter, fisherman and just truly enjoyed the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife Elaine Abbott Mauk; daughters, Janice Call of Corydon, IN and Vanessa Sigler of Charlestown; son Steve Mauk(Rita) of Charlestown; sister, Judith Zukas of Marion, IL; Sandy McCutcheon of Salem, IN; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Wanda Lynch and Sharon Fields; brother, Glen Osterle; grandson, Billy Durham and granddaughter, Alesha Dawn Wilson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Monday until time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Mauk may take the form of donations to Hibernia Christian Church or Hosparus.
