Francis Angelus Eickholtz

Mr. Eickholtz passed away at his home on Sunday, Sept.14, 2008.
He was born April 13, 1946 in Charlestown, IN to John and Anna May Schafer Eickholtz who have preceded him in death along with a brother Henry Eickholtz.
He was retired from US Airways in Louisville, KY. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He obtained an Associates Degree from Purdue University. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was an accomplished pilot and recently fulfilled one of his lifetime dreams having flown to Colorado with his best friend Mitch Newland.
He was the husband of Annemarie (Bower) Eickholtz. They were married August 21, 1971 and have been married for 37 years. Other survivors include daughters; Angela Eickholtz, Alisa Lewellen, Andrea Chase, Anna Eickholtz, Elizabeth Eickholtz, Elana Eickholtz; son, Anthony Eickholtz; brothers, Leonard, Raymond, Richard and Dennis Eickholtz; sisters, Rita Hamerla, Agnes Withers, Clara Calvert, Dorothy Dunn and Mary Shields and seven grandchildren.
