Frances Ellen Keown, 78, of Marysville, In, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her home.
She was born on February 13, 1937 to George and Anna Elizabeth (Burger) Goodman in Louisville, KY. She was retired from the old ICI Americas where she worked in the bag room as a seamstress, and was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmon Keown, Sr.; son, Elmon Keown, Jr.; granddaughter, Nina Keown.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Dale Keown of Lexington, IN, and Richard E. Keown (Michelle) of Marysville, IN; daughters, Gloria M. Keown of Sellersburg, IN, and Donita F. Watson, MD (Jimmy) of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Vanessa, Brian, Amy, Mitchell, Michael, Anthony, Caleb, and Seth; great-grandchildren, Jalen, Bailey, Mason, Caylee, Carlee, Elmon III.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:30am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 12pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
